An Evening of Astronomy at ABSW – Worchester, MA
May 11th

Come explore the stars at this Evening of Astronomy. Hosted by Annie’s Book Shop of Worchester, Jim Zebrowski of the Aldrich Astronomical Society has prepared a variety of hands-on presentations to enjoy. If weather permits, there may be stargazing with telescopes as well.

Cape Cod Restaurant Week – Locations Vary, MA
May 14th – May 20th

We love Restaurant Weeks at Crescent! They’re the perfect way to try out all of those places on your restaurant wish list. If you’ll be in the Cape Cod area this May, make sure to take advantage of the wide variety of prix fixe options!

Pink Martini Concert – Boston, MA
May 17th & 18th

You won’t want to miss this concert – Pink Martini is an incredibly unique “little orchestra.” They draw inspiration from music all over the world – even performing in 22 languages! This concert is in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their first album, Sympathique.

Wareham Oyster Festival – Wareham, MA
May 27th

Enjoy a variety of shellfish vendors from Massachusetts and Rhode Island, as well as a variety of other food options. There will also be live music, including a performance by the Southcoast Jazz Orchestra, and more activities to enjoy. Some events are also occurring in the week leading up to the festival, so be sure to check out the website for more details!

Glass Flowers Exhibit, Harvard Museum of Natural History – Cambridge, MA

Though this exhibit is ongoing, we wanted to give it a mention here – it’s been reopened pretty recently, so even if you’ve visited it before, it’s worth another look. This exhibit features over 4,000 glass models, representing more than 800 plant species. It’s an amazing marriage of art and nature!

World Grits Festival – St. George, South Carolina
Dates: April 13th-15th, 9am-9pm

Who doesn’t love a specific food festival? Celebrate this hot breakfast meal at the World Grits Festival with events ranging from a 5K to a Rolling in the Grits contest.

6th Annual Hot Sauce Expo – New York City, New York
Dates: April 21st and 22nd, 10am-6pm
Price: $10 to $100, depending on the package you purchase

The perfect event for hot sauce addicts. Get the General Admission ticket if you just want some free hot sauce tastings and entertainment. Upgrade if you’re looking for some more culinary experiences, like barbecue or a taco buffet.

Eastern Shore Sea Glass & Coastal Arts Festival – St. Michaels, Maryland

Wild and Scenic Film Festival – Exeter, New Hampshire
Date: April 20th, 7pm

Film festival dedicated to short films showcasing and celebrating stories of the human-nature connection.

Easels in the Gardens – Edenton, North Carolina
Dates: April 20th & 21st, 1pm-7pm

Enjoy a stroll through the gardens of the Cupola House and watch artists at work. The event also includes a garden party and a variety of workshops.
