5 Events in Colorado You Won’t Want To Miss (June 2018)

Welcome to June in Colorado – a month filled with balloon festivals, music festivals, food festivals… basically, any festival you can imagine! We’ve picked out some favorites – we hope you enjoy!

Telluride Balloon Festival – Telluride, Colorado
June 1-3

It’s not the biggest balloon festival in the world, but it’s a ton of fun. Balloons launch at sunrise on Saturday and Sunday and bystanders often get to help with the launch! On Saturday night, balloons line main street and put on a show.

Creatures of Light Exhibit, Denver Museum of Nature & Science – Denver, Colorado
Through June 10th

Experience a series of luminous environments, ranging from a nighttime meadow in eastern North America where fireflies glow, to an interactive Puerto Rican lagoon lit up by luminescent plankton. Who knew a science exhibit could be so romantic?

Country Jam Music Fest – Grand Junction, Colorado
June 14th-17th

Experience country music in a beautiful setting at this music festival, featuring performers like Miranda Lambert, Florida Georgia Line, and Brett Eldredge.

8th Annual Bacon & Bourbon Festival – Keystone, Colorado
June 23rd & 24th

Celebrate all things bacon & bourbon at this festival! This event has everything, ranging from bacon eating contests to bacon samples to educational lectures. They’ll even be crowning a bacon prince and princess!

Telluride Wine Festival – Telluride, Colorado
June 28th – July 1st

Who doesn’t love a wine festival in the summertime? Attend wine seminars, learn how to mix unique cocktails, and try some wine and food pairings. One of our favorite aspects of this festival is that they’ll be having a non-alcoholic beer and unique soda tasting for designated drivers or those who don’t want to over imbibe.

Nothing on this list striking your fancy? We’re here to help! Tell us what you like, and we’ll find you the perfect date night activity!
