7 Can’t Miss Events in March 2018

Spring is coming, and there’s lots to do! Whether it’s tasting ice wine or stocking up on gear for your next adventure, there’s an event for you in this list!


Some delicious events to delight your taste buds!

Ice Wine Festival – Grand River Valley Region, Ohio
Dates: March 3rd, 10th and 17th, noon-5pm
Price: $6 per winery

5 wineries are participating in this event, running the first 3 Saturdays of March. Attendees can visit each winery, sample wine, get food, and experience a variety of other events including a sled dog demonstration and ice sculpting.

Agave on the Rocks – Phoenix, Arizona
Date: March 30, 2018, 6-10pm
Price: $75 ($70 for members)

A tequila-themed event hosted by the Desert Botanical Gardens. Includes a welcome tequila, food tastings and live music. Additional tequila-themed cocktails available for purchase.

Sustainable Wine & Food Series – Los Angeles, California
Date: March 22nd, 6pm
Price: $150 ($140 for members)

The LA Zoo & Botanical Gardens has partnered with local wineries to host a series of four course farm-to-table dinners. Each dinner is set at a different location in the zoo. The first event is March 22nd, featuring Fiddlehead Cellars in Lompoc.


Acoustic Space Series: Destiny Muhammed Trio – Oakland, California
Date: March 16th, 2018, 6:30-8pm
Price: Museum admission ($15.95 before 5pm, $7.50 after 5pm)

Listen to the Destiny Muhammed Trio, a jazz trio with a cool and eclectic sound. Before or after the show, take time to explore the museum.

Max Lamb: Exercises in Seating – Chicago, Illinois
Dates: March 22nd – August 26th, 2018
Price: Free with museum admission (admission prices start at $35)

If you like unique art installations, this exhibition is perfect for you. It features a selection of chairs and stools, designed and created by Max Lamb. This is the first in the Franke/Herro Design series, which highlights the work of emerging talent.

Florida Keys National Wildlife Refuges Outdoor Festival – Florida Keys, Florida
Dates: March 10-17, 2018. Times vary.
Price: Prices vary, many free events available

An entire week of outdoor activities, hosted by a variety of wildlife refuges in the Florida Keys. Includes nature walks, origami, a wildlife fair, and more. Registration required, see website for details.

Adirondack Sports Summer Expo – Saratoga Springs, New York
Dates: March 17th, 10am-5pm & March 18th, 10am-4pm
Price: Free
